Col. Sue Ann Sandusky, Commandant of the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC), awards the 5,000th DLIFLC Associate of Arts degree to Private First Class Tyler Rasmussen on March 18th, 2010. According to the Globe Magazine, "Rasmussen, a Georgia native, graduated from DLIFLC’s 64-week-long Arabic basic course nearly 16 months after he began the program."
