Description |
On front of photo: At Camp Savage, the instructors' office was situated in one large faculty room. Here each instructor prepared lessons for the next day and tests for the coming week-end. Instructors made good use of volumes of textbooks, dictionaries. (Photo circa 1943) On back of photo: A converted mattress factory at a former Homeless Men's camp near Savage, Minn., was used as a faculty room for the Military Intelligence Service Language School in 1942. |
