Caption under the photo reads "Infantry Passing in Review, Fort Ord, California". Published by W.M. Smith, San Francisco, California. Letter on the reverse is from Louis O. Parker, a soldier at Fort Ord, to Miss Harriet Prince, a woman who likely works at the Quartermaster's Property Office at Fort Bragg based off of her address. The letter is postmarked on September 15, 1942. The brief letter reads "All is well. Love, Louis O. Parker." |
