New Commandant Col. Danial D. Pick faces a Soldier, Marine, Sailor, and Airman standing at attention on Soldier Field. This photograph was taken at the Change of Command Ceremony at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center (DLIFLC). The representation of service members from all four branches, likely students, standing at attention in front of Colonel Pick formally represent Colonel Pick taking command over a joint-service institution. Behind them are Marines standing in parade formation and the Color Guard. The ceremony was to transfer command of DLIFLC from outgoing Commandant Col. Sue A. Sandusky to incoming Commandant Col.
