Description on Back: "Military staff and teaching faculty of the Military Intelligence Service Language School pose for a group shot at Ft. Snelling, Minn., in 1946, shortfly before the school moved to the Presidio of Monterey. In the following year it was redesignated the U.S. Army Language School, and 1963, the Defense Language Institute, West Coast Branch. Among those pictured are 10 instructors who are still employed by the Institute. They are: Yutaka Munakata, Shoji Takimoto, Jimmy Kawata, Kaoru Tsukimura, Goro Yamamoto, Akira Oshida, Tetsuo Imagawa, Shigeya Kihara." |
