This box of the Annual Command History (ACH) Files contains various handbooks regarding the DLIFLC. Included in this box is the Command Operating Budget and A Model for Integrated FLO Activities. The Command Operating Budget explains the added extra hour to the instructional day (7 hour class day) to further the progress toward achieving 80% of students meeting the proficiency average and to further reduce academic attrition. Topics also included are team teaching, technological applications, and Somali "Restore Hope" operation. A Model for Integrated FLO Activities report includes information about using learning activities that approximate real life situations, which have an advantage over more artificial activities such as memorized dialogues or pattern drills. This is available in Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. The date these documents is 1993 to 1994. |
