This box of the Memorialization Records includes materials regarding the dedication and memorialization of buildings and roads on the Presidio of Monterey and Fort Ord (POM Annex). Several building records include photographs from the dedication ceremony or event. Records for some buildings include biographical information on the individual, correspondence related to the nomination, Globe articles, statements of military service (if applicable), ceremony programs, and other general correspondence between DLIFLC and the next of kin. Several records, however, have very little information regarding the individual recommended for memorialization. The date range of these documents is 1965-2006. |
