Box fourteen of the collection includes banking records and artifacts of the United Spanish War Veterans. Artifacts include USWV insignia and awards, a tool possibly used to remove medals from an article of clothing, six medals related to the USWV, a set of keys, three stamps (two with the picture of one of the medals and one from the office of the quartermaster), a vistor card holder, ten pins (eight having the incription "United Spanish War Veterans 1898-1902 with three people in the center and two incribed with "Veterans of Foreign War" going clockwise, and "Veterans of the United States," going counter clockwise), the nametag of William B. McGrew's from the 53rd Annual Encampment in Santa Cruz, CA, and a fabric piece measuring 4.25"X1.25." |
