This box of the DLI Officers and Faculty Wives Club contains A Scrapbook documenting through Photographs and Newspaper Clipping the Activities of the Army Language School Women's Club from July 1954 - June 1955. It lays out the names of the President, Vice Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Board, and Committee Chairman of the Club. Activities include Officer Elections, receptions, Christmas Tea, Donations, Luncheons, Art Exhibits, and the 'Presidio on Parade' Fashion Show. The Scrapbook has Newspaper clippings about the Army Language School Women's Club's international cookbook entitled, "What's Cooking Around the World," and its resulting 8 episode Television Series. Newspaper Clippings on Cooking Classes, Bridge Events, the Presidio Thrift Shop, the "Program Planners" Calendars, Red Cross Volunteer Work, Christmas Cards, and Stationary are also included.
The Scrapbook of the Army Language School Women's Club from 1952 -1954 contains photographs and newspaper clippings of the Clubs activities. These activities include a concert, Christmas Program, Club Elections, Floral Show, Fashion Shows, The Publishing of the International Cookbook "What's Cooking Around the World", Unveiling of a Portrait of Commandant, Holiday Tea, cocktails, and recipes. The Women's Club also began hosting monthly luncheons and invited guest speakers such as Mr. Constantin V. Semchevsky Guest and Mrs. Patricia Cunningham.

The Guestbook features the date's, names, and addresses of guests to the Army Language School Women's Club's various events from 1954 - 1962. Events are not listed. Six photos were tucked into the book.
The Cookbook, "What's Cooking Around the World," features recipes of dishes from around the world submitted by Army Language School staff, Instructors, students, and their wives. The book was compiled by the Army Language School Women's Club and include recipes from the Far Eastern Language Division, Middle East - Slavic Language Division, Romanic - Germanic Language Division, Russian Language Division, and America.
