Collection consists of materials collected while conducting research for the book "Nisei Linguists: Japanese Americans in the Military Intelligence Service during World War II," published by the Department of the Army, Center for Military HIstory, 2006.
Included are oral history interviews - both audio recordings (cassettes) and transcripts, subject files, photographs, documents, correspondence, research notes, videocassettes, and books. (Books have been separated and added to the Archives book collection.)
A collection of military intelligence books was donated to Chamberlin Library by UYEHATA. These books have recently been transferred from Chamberlin Library to the Archives.
A floppy disc entitled "A Nisei Story: A Story of a Japanese American during World War II and thye Occupation of Japan" by Kojiro Kawaguchi has been printed and was placed in the last of the three interview boxes as the last folder.
